Brand and marketing: what do you communicate?

  The brand and marketing communication cannot be sometimes as simply as we think.   What does a brand represent is linked to the development line in the production or service sector, what does it communicate is linked to marketing strategy and to the satisfaction of consumers that buy its products and services.  From my commercial brand was born a fork that it’s a writing space where meet all the background of persona branding and commercial brand but also what the professional man behind both of them thinks or wants to show about its work.   It was born so SPACEFORMDSGN as an evolution of name branding of commercial brand.  The words that compose this name branding are an english variation: “ SPACE ” “ FORM ” “ DSGN ”.    In this case I have preferred to preserve the contracted part and use the words of root in english to extend the marketing of brand to the global market.  In the evolution for writing I have preferred the contracted ...

Cybersecurity: defence of company assets

 


One of the more important things in the start up of a company it’s the choise of name for brand together with the market analysis of the production sector. 

Before the arrival in the market it’s necessary to make an evaluation not only on the name of brand but also on the productive sector where we intend to operate or invest. It’s an operation necessary not only to understand if the market is safe and reliable but also if there could be operations of unfair competition. 

It can happen that a similar brand is already used in a different sector where we can intend to invest or a brand already exists in the market sector where we can operate so it’s necessary change the name, how it can happen that a similar brand isn’t the best competitor in the market. 

In the many pivot operations it’s necessary the registration of the web  domain as main action for defence of company assets. 

If the web domain is sold and it’s late to change the name, it could be usefull a version with a different first level domain. 

There are many things to verify either in the start up of a business or in the stage of development and in the next step of commercializing. These researchs are usefull for business brand but also for commercial brand of artists and public figures. 

In these cases the best solution isn’t always the own name and surname because pseudonym and alter ego go right. 

An example from cybersecurity is the use of digital and professional alter ego necessary to protect during operations of analysis on cybercrime the real person works in this sector. 

It can happen after many years that an alter ego in the security became a second identity brandable. 

In this case it’s important to remember these choises are tied to privacy of relatives or professional motivations and often support the real name and surname. 

Another examples are pseudonyms of artists and public figures, in these cases it can happen that pseudonym is more important of real name and surname and it can be a best identity either for privacy questions or for brandable and commercializing of gadgets and other things tied to pseudonym. 

The pseudonym, either for alter ego in the cybersecurity or pseudonyms of artists, is in effect a company or business subject to free market laws.

Notes from creative journey: “The thinking behind design”

  I begin again to write after a long time of silence and after I have kept at a safe distance the world of writing.
