THE THINKING BEHIND DESIGN

  Who of us at least one time in the life isn't been in a museum?  Among the museums I have chosen three of deconstructivist style that they represent the way in which the deconstructivist architecture relates to the urban context and integrates with it.  The first museum is the Guggenheim Museum of Bilbao city in Spain of the architect Frank Gehry.  It's known particularly to architects and students of architecture as an example of deconstructivist architecture, it likes for its sinuous forms but especially because it's known to be an example of urban redevelopment of Bilbao harbor turning it as a pole of cultural attraction for the entire area.  It's known also to engineering technicians to be covered of titanium plate sheets that they change its colours in function of weather and sun exposure and to be designed with CATIA, advanced software of design and computing in aerospace industry.  In the museum there are works of artists as Richard Serra, Sol Lewi...

  The Cube City Nr 4 represents morphologically a satellite city or rather the phenomenon that in urban planning is called conurbation: the cities near the great city are designed to decentralize the services and to decongest the great city in a prospective of expansion till to reach megaregions.  In the time the great city and the nearby ones they unite untill to lost completely their urban connotations and the configuration of many cities becoming a unique city called megacity.  All these small cities around the great city represent their satellites and are correlated the great city.  The small cities grow so according to their own urban plans and/or proceeding along the direction of expansion suggested from the great city.  It seems to live in a neighbourhood of a city but in reality you live in a city that it is part of a megaregion.  We have many megacities.   The laws on privacy isn’t enough when we talk from a technical and design point of view of information applications because not all data and neither the cookies are essential.  As user and beta test in some online platforms I took care of this point particularly from the technic point of view.  Always placing the blame solely  on users the question it isn’t the right direction and neither to block the access to the service because we haven’t accept cookies for marketing pourpose it isn’t correct.  The aspect from technician, also in the beta, is more complex.  Particularly in some professional ambits almost we are daily immersed in the technologies and we cohabit, in many cases, also in the night.  The technology in many cases interact with the technologies nearby and it’s necessary of interoperability.   The linear city is a city that in the time it’s grown along a terrestrial communication artery for commercial and trasportation motivation.  It has a lengthened and narrow form and it proceeds along a central axes that it’s an infrastructure of trasportation.  It’s born and was developed across a river or a maritime artery or across an infrastructural artery as railways or roads.   Its main characteristic is the linearity or rather growing in linear way and being lengthened and narrow.   The classic connection old historical center – new expansion areas is probably one of the most contradictory debate either we see architecture or we see urban planning.  It isn’t easy to project in area near historical center for the collision that new opuses cause in the collective opinion but it’s still more difficult to realize new area in which the designers are free to experiment.  The questions on next future look at new expansion areas of our cities and our villages.     Where do you start when you finish a course of study or you decide to show your own competences on a curriculum vitae for search a work?  Obviously from the name that you will present, but the creators (architects, designers and artists) would say you also from a portofolio online which you present your own works and an identity that it may not be your real first and last name.  As previously I said, the own first and last name aren't always the best choise to present you in the professional and/or commercial online world or in the reality.  It's necessary to think also the possibility to create a pseudonym and in these cases the creation of a pseudonym will follow us all the life as an identity also it supports the own real first and last name.  It's an important choise that sometimes it can predict a change of plans and therefore the artistic pseudonym can be in fact a commercial trademark.  Then in these cases we can do a question: what our pseu...

  In the introduction to this pubblication I have pinned a series of arguments on which to write future posts. To all creatives the main request is to write about the background of own work because the author is always the better person who can explain his own work.  I begin with Abstract W | Cube City.  I have explained in a previous post that the project in the complex have to do a different thing, but as the creative coder know well with the codes not always the programming works so.  Where the cube city is born?  It’s born from the morphologic analysis and the trasformation of the cities in the time.   I have learnt from creativity and design that the market often doesn’t pursue that someone claims to know.  A clear example is in the case of economic recession when the persons tend not to spend money for superfluous expenses but reduce their purchase to essential.   I’m here to write again of cybersecurity in a different point of view from the vision of other people can imagine.  Many persons asked me to talk about cybersecurity in a special session but for me it’s impossible.  In my experience of design contests, also online, I have learnt that the consolidated procedures exist and they belong to security and legal section than creativity. An example are the contests for industrial design where is obligatory that the project:  doesn’t infringe the patents and copyright of others,  didn’t publish,  it remains unpublished until the exit of results and sometimes until the option of acquisition from the promoter of contest.  So it happens either the contest platform or contest organization or candidates have to put in operation the procedures to prevent flight of news or other problems on projects before the exit of results.   I was hoping don’t write again a critical post on some arguments because this publication is born with a different purpose, but the persistence of events not related to my will oblige me to write again a critical post.
