Privacy by design: the design in favour of privacy

  The laws on privacy isn’t enough when we talk from a technical and design point of view of information applications because not all data and neither the cookies are essential.  As user and beta test in some online platforms I took care of this point particularly from the technic point of view.  Always placing the blame solely  on users the question it isn’t the right direction and neither to block the access to the service because we haven’t accept cookies for marketing pourpose it isn’t correct.  The aspect from technician, also in the beta, is more complex.  Particularly in some professional ambits almost we are daily immersed in the technologies and we cohabit, in many cases, also in the night.  The technology in many cases interact with the technologies nearby and it’s necessary of interoperability. Design: the production that doesn’t forget the consumer

 


I have learnt from creativity and design that the market often doesn’t pursue that someone claims to know. 

A clear example is in the case of economic recession when the persons tend not to spend money for superfluous expenses but reduce their purchase to essential. Not even the infamous free obtains in certain event the forecast consent as often the sector tempts exorbitant advertising, pyramidal schemes and other illegal things. 

It’s happened to discover in market and marketing analysis for the pre-supply  of an artwork or design project that sometimes that you think cannot like obtains more consent rather than that you think can like. 

The company that produces common objects it knows rightly the market study continues also after production and marketability of products. 

The study extends what the consumer likes, the level of satisfaction of purchase and if the use of product is the same which is created and produced. 

The designers sometimes like to go on the ways not tracked to attract the attention of public, of companies and financers without think sometimes that product isn’t fuctional for the use. 

The engineering studies taught that a stair, a kitchen, a living room, an office have to follow the standard to be used, the design have to follow the same standard without to be useless and non functional. 

The creativity implies different actions, it isn't only an act of creation but also analysis, synthesis and selection. 

The physics tells if we would like to go from A to B we can follow different ways but that it's important are the starting and final points so in the creativity there are different ways to begin an image and to make out a final image. 

In the development of a project there isn’t only a solution but before a designer decide for definitive solution it values different alternatives taking a look an extensive viewpoint of definitive solution imagining a possible challenge in the future bound to evolve the style and the trend of the time. 

Especially in the design patterns don't exist an unique solution but for various motivations bound to the production a designer chooses the best solution that attracts the commercial market. 

A different approuch in comparison to search different solutions it’s lied to the valutation of what a client can do with the product, see beyond a unique solution for a problem can be the best research for a response to a projectal need.

Notes from creative journeys: “The thinking behind design”

  I begin again to write after a long time of silence and after I have kept at a safe distance the world of writing.
